About This Position

$25.01 to $29.90 per hour (Salary Commensurate with Experience)

Full Time (8:30AM – 5:00PM) Monday through Friday.

The Moorings of Arlington Heights is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Admissions Coordinator for the Nursing Administration Department to enhance our intake experience and streamline our admissions process.

Primary Responsibility: Admits prospects, and residents transitioning to the Skilled Nursing Facility. Works in tandem with Social Services for internal transitions facilitating the admission process paperwork for all healthcare levels of care. This position is accountable for the occupancy of the health care center and communication of the health center services.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Facilitates a smooth and “customer-friendly” admissions process that will increase satisfaction from referral sources, residents, and their family members
  • Conduct tours, answer questions, and explain policies, ensuring a warm welcome for prospective residents and their families.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, follow up via various communication channels, and maintain essential admissions materials.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies for coverage verification and communicate Medicare usage to relevant departments.
  • Assist the sales and nursing team with assessments, both locally and remotely, and support marketing events and strategic outreach plans.
  • Maintain a sales board for referrals, update database records, and cover for the Director of Admissions as needed.
  • Commit to self-improvement, attend sales training, and achieve admission goals.
  • Utilize Presbyterian Homes’ computer systems effectively and adhere to corporate compliance policies.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred.

Experience: Two years’ experience in healthcare and marketing preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient at analyzing data.
  • Strong critical thinking skills as apply to sales outcomes.
  • Knowledge of the use of CRMs.
