Loader/Paint Booth Operator: Keep Projects Moving With Precision and Craftsmanship

What You’ll Do

As a Loader/Paint Booth Operator, you will:

  1. Load and unload the paint booth to maintain consistent material flow
  2. Safely load finished steel components onto semi-trailers for transport to job sites
  3. Operate overhead crane and rigging systems to move heavy beams and materials
  4. Read and interpret packing slips to verify all components and hardware are included
  5. Ensure parts are painted completely and correctly per job specifications
  6. Apply industrial paint finishes to structural steel in accordance with quality and safety standards
  7. Maintain legibility of part markings after painting
  8. Monitor and maintain paint inventory; submit requisitions as needed
  9. Perform daily and quarterly maintenance and cleaning of the paint booth, spray equipment, and work areas
  10. Properly dispose of painting materials and waste
  11. Move trailers as needed
  12. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  13. Provide flexible coverage across both paint operations and loading functions

SCHEDULE

  1. Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:15 PM
  2. Occasional overtime available on Fridays, 6:00am–3:00pm
  3. All work is performed in our Waite Park shop.

Pay Transparency Statement

In accordance with pay transparency guidelines, the anticipated pay range for this position is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and role requirements. Eligible employees may also participate in company benefit programs, subject to plan terms and employment status.

Position Requirements

  1. Ability to regularly lift 80 lbs and remain on your feet for the full shift
  2. Experience with overhead crane operation and rigging preferred
  3. 1–2 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field is a plus
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to visualize spatial layouts
  5. Commitment to safety in all processes
  6. Self-motivated, efficient, and dependable team contributor
