Power Platform Developer (Power Automate)

About the Role:
We're looking for a Power Platform Engineer with advanced expertise in Power Automate to join our team on a 1-year contract. The role involves supporting, optimizing, and enhancing Power Automate scripts while also converting existing workflows into Power Automate within SharePoint Online. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building efficient automation solutions and refining documentation to support long-term scalability.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide post-implementation support for Power Automate scripts
• Develop new Power Automate Desktop and Cloud flows as needed
• Optimize and improve efficiency of existing Power Automate solutions
• Mature and refine process documentation and scripting steps
• Assist in converting legacy workflows into Power Automate within SharePoint Online

Job Requirements:

• Strong understanding of software development methodology
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate (Desktop & Cloud flows)
• Experience with automation scripting, testing, and troubleshooting
• Strong documentation and process mapping skills

Additional Details:

• Onsite Requirement:
  • First week onsite
  • After initial week, role is primarily remote but will require occasional onsite presence for team meetings (a few times per month)
• Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside in Virginia (no DC residents)
