MCH Scrub Certified Technician, On-Call at Shore Medical Center – Somers Point, New Jersey

Shore Medical Center is seeking a full time On-Call Certified MCH Scrub Technician for the Mother Baby Unit. The position will cover on call shifts from 7pm Sunday through 7am Friday and is a full time salaried position.

Position Summary
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists in providing care to a designated patient population in collaboration with other members of the health care team.

Qualifications
• National Certification as a Surgical Technologist through NBSTSA or NCCT; or has completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the US Military; or a valid NJ LPN License; or can show evidence of being employed as a Surgical Technician prior to December 2011
• BLS from American Heart Association
• Hospital Operating Room scrub experience preferred
• Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull

Salary Range: $27.15 - $36.54
