Full Time Dependable LPN at Abbington Powell Partners LP – Powell, Ohio

Abbington Of Powell is looking for a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, to join our team of health care professionals in a friendly, well trained and homelike assisted living environment. We strive to create a nurturing home for our residents. Experience working with Geriatrics and Senior populations is preferred.

This position is for day shift hours ranging 7am-8pm. Shifts are 12-13 hours with paid lunch and breaks. Salary Range from $26-32 per hour based on experience. We pay biweekly with merit based annual pay increases. Merit Based and referral bonuses are offered.

Job duties include, direct nursing care for residents under the guidance of our Service Coordinator and Executive Director in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility. These responsibilities include but are not limited to medication administration and assisting with activities of daily living.

• Stay updated on duties and responsibilities for safe nursing practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely implementation of resident care plans.
• Uphold resident confidentiality and communicate health-related information within established guidelines.
• Participate in resident care assessments, document observations, and report changes in condition promptly.
• Responsibility to our residents includes communicating with respect and empathy to preserve their dignity.
• Responsibility to fellow employees to collaborate and foster team work in our community.

1. Current LPN License in Ohio and Certification is required.
2. Must have at least one years experience. Must be able to administer TB tests, Insulin and intramusclur injections.
3. Maintain accurate documentation required for licensure in Ohio.
4. Must be willing to work 32 hours or more a week including weekends.
5. Must be willing to submit to a background check.
6. Must pass a preemployment physical.
7. Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with regulatory standards (Medicaid, HIPAA, etc.)
8. Responsibility to follow Abbington company rules and organizational policies.
9. Must be able to lift/carry up to 35 pounds regularly and push individuals who weigh up to 200 pounds in wheelchairs.
10. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear.
11. Must be able to stay awake for the entire shift.
12. Must be able to provide care to male and female residents.
