ACCOUNTANT at Aero Centers – Atlanta, Georgia

Accountant

As an Accountant at Aero Centers, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. You will help oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and prepare detailed financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will work closely with the Financial Leadership to ensure we comply with all relevant GAAP requirements.

Position is for our Atlanta location at Dekalb Peachtree Airport.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with variety of general accounting tasks, including closing the books monthly

· Reconcile General ledger accounts and bank statements

· Monitor cash and bank accounts

· Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.

· Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.

· Manage sales and use tax compliance from end to end.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

· Proven experience as an accountant

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles

· Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics a plus).

· Experience with Excel

· Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Analytical mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.

· Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes
