PD Infusion RN - South Plainfield, NJ at RWJBarnabas Health – SOUTH PLAINFIELD, New Jersey

Job Overview:

The Infusion RN provides direct care to clients in their homes.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred:

• Previous home infusion experience is desired.
• PICC Certification and Chemotherapy certification preferred.
• CRNI certification is preferred.
• ONS certification is preferred.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current licensure by the New Jersey Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association is required.
• Completion of an IV certification course is required.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per-Diem

Essential Functions:

• Participates in program development, quality assurance and the delivery of care
• Remains familiar with all pumps, access devices, drugs and central lines
• Develops and maintains relationships with referral services and client base
• Determines appropriateness of patients for home therapy
• Performs patient care when needed and on-call
