GH AM Line Cook I at GROVE HOTEL-BOISE LLC – Boise, Idaho

As a Line Cook at the Grove Hotel, you will play a vital role in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes to ensure every plate meets our standards for quality, presentation, and consistency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Set up and stock stations with appropriate tools, ingredients, and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment throughout your shift.
• Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure efficient ticket execution.
• Monitor ingredient levels and replenish as needed throughout service.
• Assist with inventory tracking, labeling, and stock rotation.
• Provide input for daily specials or seasonal menu items.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude, especially during high-volume service.
• Follow all company food safety, uniform, and attendance policies.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced kitchen required.
• Must be proficient in basic cooking techniques and knife handling.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be available to work early mornings and weekends.
• Ability to multitask and stay detail-focused in a deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations required.
• Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in hot kitchen environments and move between stations as needed.
