Shields experienced rapid growth in the fourth quarter of 2023, which has carried over into 2024 and beyond. We have an immediate opportunity for one Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our Warehouse Team. This team member will carry out a variety of tasks, inclusive of all warehouse functions, in a fast-paced and schedule-driven environment.

Essential Duties:

• Deliver finished goods to customer sites via delivery truck.
• Checks material received against vendor invoices, orders
• Receives and prepares incoming material for input into inventory.
• Verifies quantity and condition of material.
• Maintains inventory count and resolves discrepancies.
• Delivers material to work centers.
• Compare and verify identifying information (counts, weights) against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
• Operate tier-lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License

Education/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and an ERP / MPR computer system.
• Detail orientated, with exceptional organizational skills
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify problems, develop and evaluate options, and recommend solutions
