Job Description of Seasonal Fertilizer General Labor

Responsible for performing a variety of job responsibilities which include painting, general housekeeping, lawn mowing, pressure washing and organizing for efficient operations. Work in outdoor or indoor settings, such as facility locations and agricultural fields. The job involves operation of machinery and equipment, exposure to various weather conditions and handling chemicals, so adherence to safety guidelines is crucial.

• Willingness to work outside.
• Work hours vary depending on workload, including nights and weekends during peak season.
• Daily maintenance of equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written)
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and recognize matters needing attention and initiate action on that recognition.
• Interact with customers and managers.
• General housekeeping
• Help with loading trucks.
• Work closely with plant operator.
• All other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to climb up to 15 feet on ladders attached to a truck or fertilizer tank.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed on uneven surfaces.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not necessary. Will train the right applicant.
