Job Summary
Avera is looking for a dedicated Environmental Services (Housekeeping/Custodial) Supervisor that is hands on in the daily work week, when needed, willing to coach staff and directs employees to make good decisions concerning the safety and cleanliness of the facility. Supervisory Responsibilities
The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for providing efficient and effective guidance and broad supervision of all staff in the Environmental Services Department. Responsibilities include developing, training, and retaining employees; interviewing and hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
- A minimum of two years of environmental service/housekeeping/custodial experience, two years of supervision and/or an acceptable equivalent combination of experience required.
Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations
- CHEST Certification preferred.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Every other weekend and holiday rotations
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $22.75 - $28.50 per hour
