Position Title: Clinical Psychologist

Psychologists will be part of a treatment team on the inpatient psychiatric unit. Psychologists will provide brief assessment, individual therapy and group therapy. Psychologists will participate in discharge planning.

Required Credentials: Psychology Doctorate and unrestricted Illinois licensure

Description: Join an interdisciplinary team consisting of attending psychiatrists, social workers, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, and more to work on a general adult inpatient psychiatric unit and, as needed/ possible, on the medical floors. Brief psychological assessment, individual and group therapy, and discharge planning. The patient population skews to primary mental illness with concomitant trauma and substance use in an inner-city population.

The main location of service would be Holy Cross hospital at 68th St and California Ave Chicago, Illinois 60629. Hours are somewhat flexible but generally 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM M-F. No on-call required.
