About This Position

Job Summary
- The PC Specialists work closely with other PC Specialists to ensure a high level of user satisfaction in all areas of computing at MRH. The PC Specialist position will work closely with end users and technical persons within all MRH departments to assure a high level of user satifaction with all aspects of computer and software systems.
Regulatory Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Entry level position, previous experience with computers and peripherals
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of computer technology and equipment; modems, printers, PC's.
- Knowledge of data communications hardware and software.
- Networking experience preferred.
- Able to synthesize information and knowledge as a key component of critical thinking and decision making.
- PC hardware and peripheral troubleshooting
- An understanding of Microsoft system platforms
- Local and network printing
- Proper use of ticketing, inventory and purchasing applications
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN and Wireless networks (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
- General familiarity of Microsoft applications
