Job Overview:

The job of an expeditor at Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles is to ease communication between the service staff and the kitchen. The expo is to make sure that the highest quality product is being served quickly from kitchen to table. The expo’s responsibility is to communicate to the kitchen special orders and make sure plates are ready to go and delivered to the right table.

Duties:

Prepare station. Make sure all utensils and supplies are ready (syrup, spoons, butter, etc.).

Inform service staff of any unusual situations.

Call orders out to the kitchen, inform them of special instructions.

Provide information to kitchen on missing, sent back, or late orders.

Inform service staff when their particular orders are up or have been served.

Make sure you have service staff ready to deliver food to tables in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma
• To read and write fluently to take instructions in both verbal and written forms
• Must provide documentation of legal U. S. residency
• Must have a Food Handlers Card
