PATIENT ACCOUNT SPECIALIST - PATIENT ACCOUNTS at Aultman Health Foundation – CANTON, Ohio

Purpose of Position:

• To accurately do follow up and Billing for Aultman Physicians. The employee will have experience in hospital or physician billing. The experience can be at a hospital or physician office

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Excel experience a plus
• Experience and knowledge with computer systems, related software preferred
• Website experience
• Multiple software applications are utilized
• Good typing levels
• Ten key experience
• Professional manner and appearance
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Ability to work 100% Onsite

Primary Responsibility:

• Employee will receive automated files daily from our bill scrubber. Daily will complete the billing to multiple insurance companies quickly and efficiently.
• Employee will receive accounts in a follow up system. They will accurately make follow up calls or website query to resolve the patient accounts
• Employee will meet weekly stats in order to be compliant with base quotas
• Employee will meet weekly quality goals of actively resolving accounts
• Daily printing of manual bills for sending claims to insurance companies

Hours of Operation:

• Monday through Friday; 8:00a – 4:30p Onsite
