We are a mission-driven, fast-growing company focused on delivering high-impact, data-powered solutions across healthcare, finance, and consumer sectors. Our team thrives on innovation, excellence, and using data to drive meaningful change. We’re currently expanding our advanced analytics capabilities and are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist and Architect to design and scale our data infrastructure and ML pipelines.
As a Senior Data Scientist & Data Architect, you will play a dual role in leading high-level machine learning initiatives while architecting scalable, secure, and efficient data ecosystems. This is a strategic role ideal for a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable with modeling, analytics, cloud engineering, and stakeholder collaboration.
We are specifically looking for someone trained in the U.S. or with strong U.S. enterprise experience, and who understands how to build data systems that support global or LATAM operations.
- Architect end-to-end data platforms, integrating structured and unstructured data across multiple sources and environments (cloud, on-premise, APIs, etc.)
- Lead development and deployment of machine learning models that directly impact business outcomes (predictive analytics, personalization, risk scoring, NLP, etc.)
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate strategic objectives into scalable data solutions
- Establish data governance, security, and compliance best practices
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers; help establish data culture and best practices
- Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval using technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time data streams, and ML pipelines
- 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and data architecture
- Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and at least one other language (e.g., R, Scala, or Java)
- Strong hands-on experience with data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect)
- Proven experience in deploying ML models in production environments (MLOps, Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD or MS preferred)
- Familiarity with US regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR, etc.) and industry standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with data products in healthcare, finance, or consumer applications
- US work experience or training from a U.S. institution (academic or corporate)
- Familiarity with LATAM market data infrastructure challenges and compliance landscape
- Experience leading data teams in a high-growth, remote-first environment.
- Competitive USD salary (commensurate with experience).
- Flexible remote-first work environment
- Paid time off & local holidays observed
- Health and wellness stipends
- Opportunity to make a global impact and grow with a mission-driven company
Submit your resume and a short cover letter highlighting your experience designing scalable data systems and deploying impactful ML solutions across borders.
