About This Position
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a direct contact with customers and internal Business Units.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and operations.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (NPI, SQM, Production) to ensure project success.
- Understand and meet customer expectations as defined in contracts, RFQs, RFPs, SOWs, or verbal requests.
- Develop cost quotations for RFQs, RFPs, SOWs, and verbal requests as needed.
- Create and manage project plans (roadmap/Gantt chart) with key milestones for process implementation.
- Communicate key business metrics, goals, objectives, and reporting requirements.
- Set and achieve goals and objectives in collaboration with customers, operations, and respective business units.
- Execute cost reduction and continuous improvement activities to ensure low cost, profitability, and high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance to ensure revenue and profit goals are met.
- Track program performance to customer expectations and work with operations to address deficiencies.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for underperforming business metrics and ensure plans are met.
- Communicate corrective action plans to customers proactively when performance is below expectations.
Major Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve technical, business, cost, and schedule challenges.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with P&L terminology and concepts.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
Experience:
- 3+ years of project management experience.
Education:
- BS/MS in Marketing, Operations, Information Management, or Business Administration.
Other Requirements:
- Expert use of Microsoft suite of application software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Project or program management experience.
- Proficiency in Mandarin or Spanish is a plus.
