Registered Nurse/PACU - Full Time - Somerset, NJ at University Center for Ambulatory Surgery, LLC – Franklin Township, New Jersey

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our PACU team at University Center for Ambulatory Surgery. As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care after surgical procedures. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care and attention. Your primary goal will be to ensure that patients are comfortable and safe throughout their surgical experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active nursing license in the state of New Jersey
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Prior ASC experience
• Electronic Medical Record experience

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and monitoring patients after surgical procedures
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborating with the surgical team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and medical information
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
