Employment Type: Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys cleaning and doing floor maintenance in a school facility in the Green Hills area (Nashville). The Custodian is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks and maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, wet and dry mopping, restroom, gym, classrooms, and/or cafeteria cleaning, trash removal, grounds debris removal, window and door cleaning, and more.
• Set up and clean up for events, which may involve moving furniture.
• Perform floor and carpet maintenance periodically (school breaks).

Hours:

• Regular Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
• Overtime Opportunities: Available.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a required background check to work in a school environment.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including walking, bending, stretching, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pulling, and pushing.
• Strong customer service skills and a responsible work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Capability to precisely track and log work hours using a smartphone or computer
• Ability to work in a Smoke-free environment

Compensation

• Hourly wage: $17 per hour
• Full-time Benefits (after 60 days)
