Lifesteps is expanding services in Washington County and has an immediate need for several Day Program Aides for the Adult Training facility in Eighty-Four, PA.

Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for 100 years by helping individuals and families with life's changing needs. The Agency provides programs and services to help those with special needs live to their fullest potential. POSITION SUMMARY:

Have fun while you work and bring joy into the lives of program participants! The Day Program Aide is responsible for assisting special needs adults with activities such as crafts, community outings and life skills.

Staff observe and report on the accomplishments of participants, while maintaining a safe and clean environment and the day program aide transports participants in the local community for learning, engagement and fun activities using an Agency vehicle.

Part-time hours - Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. 16.5 hours weekly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• • High School Diploma/GED.

  • Must be at least 18yrs of age or older

  • Must be able to lift 200lbs with assistance

  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain clearance (Act 33, 34, 151)

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
