Part-Time Seasonal Tax Accountant (Tax Season) at R&R Human Resources Solutions – Northbrook, Illinois

Our client, a boutique CPA firm located in Northbrook is seeking a Part-Time Seasonal Tax Accountant to prepare a variety of income tax returns during the 2026 tax season. This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional looking for flexible, part-time work with a weekly commitment of 15 -20 hours per week. Work will be performed in the office.

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, and 1120S, as well as applicable state returns

• Analyze financial data and ensure accuracy and compliance with current tax laws

• Communicate with clients to request information and clarify tax-related questions

• Collaborate with internal staff to meet all tax season deadlines

• Maintain organized and complete tax files and documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• CPA license preferred

• Prior experience in public accounting required

• Strong working knowledge of federal and state tax regulations

• Experience with professional tax preparation software

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines during peak tax season
