Job Overview

Middletown Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our busy, high-volume service department. This service technician role is perfect for professionals who take pride in quality work, efficiency, and strong diagnostic skills.

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will work in a modern shop with consistent repair volume and a supportive management team focused on helping technicians succeed.

Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs as an Automotive Service Technician
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently
Complete repair orders according to manufacturer standards
Work closely with service advisors to communicate repair needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Stay up to date with Chevrolet training and technical updates
Meet productivity and quality goals as a professional service technician

Qualifications:

Previous automotive technician experience preferred (GM experience is a plus)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
ASE certifications preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
