Dental Assistant – Full Time

Fairmont Family Dental is looking for a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team! We’re a patient-focused, modern practice that values teamwork, efficiency, and delivering high-quality care.

Schedule:
Tuesday – Friday + 1–2 Saturdays per month
Approximately 28–32 hours per week (full-time benefits eligible)

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of procedures
• Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
• Take digital X-rays and impressions
• Support procedures including clear aligners and dental implants
• Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental
• Ensure a smooth and positive patient experience

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
• Experience with Open Dental (preferred)
• Experience with iTero scanner (a strong plus)
• Familiarity with clear aligner cases and implant procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
• Valid X-ray certificate.
• Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
• CPR & first aid certificate.

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Reports to: Operations Manager
