Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE: To assist facilities in ensuring the campus is a hospitable environment by serving core facilities needs.
DIRECT REPORT: Director of Facilities

POSITION OUTCOMES/EXPECTATIONS:
- Responsible for afternoon and evening room set up (tables, chairs, etc…) as requested and some event clean up as needed prior to the arrival of night shift janitorial crew
- Keep the trash cans from evening events emptied and facilitate last minute set up needs by making contact with the event site contact prior to their event
- Respond to any evening set up needs as requested by the Director of Facilities, Facilities Coordinator, or event site representative. Take appropriate action to resolution of the request and report details of the resolution to the requesting party.
- Distribute copy paper, toner, packages, etc. as assigned.
- Various facilities project work as assigned
- Complete assigned work orders and record completions in the applicable web-based maintenance system
- Primarily an afternoon, evening, and weekend schedule (Wednesday -Sunday)
Education
- High school diploma or GED
Experience
- School facilities experience valued
- Janitorial or set up crew experience preferred
Physical Requirements, Skills, Abilities and Attributes
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Must be comfortable with ladders as some work will require ladder use
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be a self-starter while also working well as part of a team
