About This Position
Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Manager to serve as the operational leader of our commercial organization, working directly with the Director of Commercial Sales to drive execution, accountability, and growth across the business.
This role is responsible for leading and developing multiple customer-facing teams including sales representatives, technical service, distributor sales, and sales support. The Sales Manager plays a critical role in translating commercial priorities into disciplined execution, ensuring strong forecasting, performance management, and customer engagement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the commercial execution teams
Provide leadership and coaching to sales representatives, technical service, distributor sales, and sales support teams.
Establish clear performance expectations and accountability across the organization.
Develop team capability and support the growth of less experienced sales professionals.
Drive sales execution and performance discipline
Ensure consistent execution of the sales plan across territories, accounts, and distribution channels.
Maintain strong pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
Monitor key performance indicators and identify actions required to achieve targets.
Own commercial performance visibility
Analyze sales performance data, market trends, and pipeline activity.
Prepare performance reporting and insights that support leadership decision making.
Ensure CRM and reporting tools provide reliable and actionable data.
Strengthen customer engagement
Support key customer relationships and step into complex customer discussions when needed.
Provide guidance to the sales team in navigating technical and commercial challenges.
Build and maintain a strong network within the foundry and cast metals industry.
Support strategic execution
Work closely with the Director of Commercial Sales to implement commercial priorities and initiatives.
Coordinate across sales, product management, and technical service to align execution with market opportunities.

Requirements:The successful candidate will be a disciplined sales leader who combines strong business acumen with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Qualifications and key strengths include:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Industry experience in foundry or metal casting is highly required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales leadership of multi-disciplinary sales or commercial teams
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Ability to manage pipeline performance and forecasting rigor
- Experience in B2B industrial sales environments
- Analytical mindset with comfort working with CRM and reporting tools
- Credibility with technical customers and industrial stakeholders
- Able to travel up to 50%
