Position Title: Scanning Operator

Description

Responsibilities include the following:
The successful candidate will complete production activities related to scanning services based on the customers' need. Activities include all processes related to tracking documents, document preparation, image acquisition, document indexing, image processing, scan-to-file hard copies, and scanning images into the appropriate systems/software, in addition to:

  • Reading and understandingthe work order prior to starting the job to assure the job is completed to the highest degree of quality,accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • A working knowledge of printing equipment.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Following guidelines set forth in standard operating procedures.
  • Processing, comprehending, and following detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Inspecting finished work for sharpness, density of line, position, count and sizes.
  • Monitoring inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Other tasks include:
Keeping equipment clean at all timesto assure our products are delivered in the highest quality to our customer.
Using variousequipment/machinery to finish the job order to the exact customer standards.
In betweenjobs, work area must be tidied-up and swept clean.
Notifying the supervisor immediately if any equipment malfunctions, or deviates from the established quality control parameters.
Flexibility, may be asked to work in other production departments.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A working knowledge of software applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships withcustomers and co-workers.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis.

Hourly Range:$18.50
