Annual Salary range: $ 68,000- $75,000

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Restaurant Manager for The Henry in Dearborn, MI.

Job Purpose:

The Restaurant Manager oversees restaurant, room service, and other food and beverage outlets to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and financial success. This role is responsible for daily operations, short-term planning, employee leadership, budget control, and compliance with brand standards and all federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the restaurant, room service, and assigned outlets to deliver high-quality service and guest satisfaction
  • Lead, hire, train, schedule, coach, and motivate food and beverage staff; conduct performance and salary reviews
  • Monitor and control budgets, including labor, food, beverage, and supplies
  • Implement company and franchise programs, SOPs, and safety standards
  • Address guest feedback, resolve issues, and identify trends to enhance service and increase revenue
  • Create and implement promotions and presentations to drive in-house and local business
  • Ensure proper sanitation, maintenance, and asset protection

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule; including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of MICROS or similar restaurant systems
  • Ability to manage budgets and analyze operational data
  • Passion for service and people-focused leadership

  • Strong communication skills are essential when interacting with guests and employees.
  • Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.
  • Basic math skills are used frequently when handling cash or credit.
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used.
  • Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays
