Job Summary
The HR Manager will lead HR operations for Fidelity Manufacturing’s McGregor, TX location. This position will partner closely with site leadership to build a strong culture, establish consistent HR practices, and support rapid workforce growth. This role is responsible for driving employee relations, supporting leaders, ensuring compliance, and building efficient HR processes that align with our shared services model. The HR Manager will report to the Sr. HR Manager at Headquarters in Ocala, FL.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead HR operations for the McGregor site, ensuring consistency with company practices while adapting to local needs
  • Partner with plant leadership to drive performance, accountability, and team development
  • Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, and workforce challenges
  • Support hiring efforts, onboarding, and workforce planning
  • Drive payroll and timekeeping accuracy by ensuring leader accountability and resolving issues proactively
  • Oversee employee relations matters, including investigations and corrective actions
  • Coordinate benefits and leave processes in partnership with shared services teams
  • Analyze trends (turnover, engagement, exit feedback) and recommend actions to improve retention
  • Maintain personnel records
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Champion company culture, including Fidelity’s core behaviors and values

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in an HR Generalist or HR Manager role (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • May require a bachelor’s degree in a related area or 5 to 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Strong employee relations and leadership coaching experience
  • Ability to work both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting growth, change, or new site launches is a plus
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • PHR/SHRM certification, preferred.
  • Willing to travel, when needed.

Working Condition

This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and filing systems. At times, responsibilities may require work in the manufacturing or warehouse environment, where fluctuating temperatures, elevated noise levels, moving machinery, and hard or uneven walking surfaces may be present. OSHA-compliant safety training is provided, and employees must follow all posted safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering designated production areas.

  • Visual acuity for reading, data entry, and document review
