You will act as a key business partner to marketing leadership, translating complex campaign and channel performance into actionable financial insights. The role plays a critical part in ensuring that significant marketing spend is optimized, controlled, and aligned with broader business objectives and profitability targets. You will own forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis for multi-million-dollar marketing investments while helping shape strategic decisions around brand growth. Working cross-functionally with finance, marketing, and operations teams, you will help connect creative ambition with financial discipline. This is a highly visible role where analytical rigor meets strategic influence in a fast-paced consumer-focused business.
- Own and manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting for marketing and media investments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Provide variance analysis and strategic insights to senior stakeholders, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and optimization levers across spend channels.
- Oversee compliance, financial controls, and governance, including agency contracts, invoices, accruals, provisions, and prepayments.
- Evaluate marketing and campaign effectiveness by analyzing ROI, efficiency, and contribution to brand and commercial performance, including post-campaign reviews.
- Partner with marketing teams on financial modeling for brand launches and innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with P&L targets and ROI expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as R&D, supply chain, and marketing to validate assumptions and assess the financial viability of new initiatives.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or marketing finance within beauty, FMCG, or DTC-led environments.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis using Excel and related tools.
- Proven ability to translate marketing and media performance into clear financial insights that drive decision-making.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in fast-paced, high-growth, cross-functional environments.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and challenge non-finance teams effectively.
- Demonstrated ownership of budgeting cycles, investment analysis, or marketing performance tracking at scale.
