Family Representative - Surgical Services at Randolph Health – Asheboro, North Carolina

Provides direct service to patients' families in Surgical Services by providing emotional support and information regarding procedures, patient progress and other information. Works with nursing/physician staff to control visitor flow in and out of the area as well as to resolve any conflict/complaint situation within their scope. Refers complicated situations to the charge nurse. Performs office personnel duties and outstanding customer service. Minimum high school diploma. Requires the ability to communicate effectively, explain instructions, comfort patients/families, and assist in conflict resolution. Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills during initial interview.
