About This Position

Mid-Level Scientist (RRMC)

KeenLogic is seeking a Mid-Level Scientist (RRMC) to support our team with one of our government clients. This position supports Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) in delivering environmental compliance support across Department of Defense (DoD) facilities.

The role supports environmental compliance programs, including stormwater management, best management practices, and Chesapeake Bay Program initiatives. Responsibilities include regulatory coordination, reporting, and compliance assessments.

This is a 5-year contract. This role is a full-time onsite position located at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC) near Waynesboro, PA, supporting Department of Defense facilities in the surrounding PA/MD region. Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering OR Master’s degree in science or engineering

  • 6+ years of experience with a bachelor’s OR 4+ years with a master’s

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support environmental compliance programs and initiatives

  • Coordinate with regulators and operations staff

  • Prepare reports, permits, and presentations

  • Conduct internal assessments and audits

  • Support stormwater and sustainability programs

Required Work Experience:

  • Air permitting and implementation

  • Wastewater permitting and implementation

  • Stormwater permitting and implementation

  • MS4 permitting and implementation

  • The Chesapeake Bay Program and pollutant reductions for TMDL

  • Storage tank compliance

  • NEPA program implementation

  • Cultural and historic resources program implementation

  • Meet with regulators and operations staff

  • Prepares reports, presentations, permit applications, design review comments, and plan updates

Preferred Work Experience:

  • Hazardous waste and chemical inventory compliance

  • ODS inventory and compliance

  • Soil and groundwater investigation and compliance

  • Multimedia assessments

  • Natural resource program implementation
