About the role:
The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate movement, handling, and staging of materials throughout the warehouse and yard. This role supports warehouse and fabrication operations and maintains inventory integrity by performing all material transactions in accordance with company procedures and the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Roles/Tasks of the Position:
- Pull, stage, and move materials in accordance with established WMS procedures.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Receive inbound materials and complete put-away as directed.
- Supply the fabrication team with materials per Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as assigned.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse storage locations.
- Report inventory discrepancies, safety concerns, and operational issues to supervision.
- Follow all company safety, operational, and quality procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and follow picklists, packing slips, purchase orders, and BOMs.

- Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and drivers.

- Working in hot, humid environments.
- Lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing (stairs and structures), and stooping.
- Keyboarding/typing.
- Ability to read effectively from a computer screen and/or paper copy.
- Ability to manage a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Prerequisites/Requirements:
- Negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test.
- Valid Driver's License and Proof of U.S. Citizenship.
