This senior finance leadership role is responsible for driving enterprise-wide financial strategy, planning, and analysis within a mission-driven financial institution. The position plays a critical role in shaping long-term financial sustainability by overseeing forecasting, budgeting, balance sheet management, and performance analysis. Acting as a key advisor to executive leadership, the role ensures that financial insights directly support strategic decision-making, risk management, and operational efficiency. It requires a strong command of financial systems, regulatory environments, and asset-liability dynamics within a highly regulated sector. The environment is collaborative and data-driven, with close interaction across executive teams, risk, accounting, and investment functions. This is a high-impact opportunity for a finance leader who combines analytical depth with strategic influence.
- Lead enterprise-wide financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial modeling, and strategic planning aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide advanced financial insight and decision support on pricing, product strategy, capital planning, liquidity, and balance sheet optimization.
- Advise executive leadership and governance committees on financial performance, asset-liability management, investment strategy, and risk-adjusted outcomes.
- Oversee liquidity management, interest rate risk modeling, investment analytics, and balance sheet risk measurement to ensure financial stability.
- Partner with risk, controller, and audit teams to support regulatory compliance, external audits, and risk assessments.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting frameworks, models, and policies ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory alignment.
- Enhance financial systems, forecasting tools, and analytics capabilities to improve scalability and decision-making quality.
- Lead business intelligence and KPI reporting functions in collaboration with data and technology teams.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, automation adoption, and AI-enabled financial transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within a financial institution or credit union.
- 8+ years of experience managing and developing teams in a finance leadership capacity.
- Strong expertise in GAAP, investment analysis, capital planning, liquidity management, and cost optimization.
- Deep understanding of asset-liability management and financial risk modeling.
- Strong leadership and executive communication skills with experience advising senior stakeholders and boards.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments with strong compliance and governance expectations.
- CFA certification or advanced financial credentials preferred.
- Competitive salary ranging from $187,923 to $208,804 annually, plus performance-based bonus
