- Provide operational support to the Front Office Supervisor and Clinical Manager
- Guide and motivate front office staff for optimal performance
- Ensure efficient patient flow through planning and teamwork
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with clinic, office, contract, and volunteer staff
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Support patients with access barriers related to income, language, or culture
- Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and all relevant hospital regulations
- Minimum 2 years of experience in patient access at an outpatient clinic or medical office
- Strong communication skills—verbal and written
- Experience with registration, scheduling, cashiering, and basic coding
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, and cash payment policies
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Preferred: Experience with eMDs and McKesson Paragon
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 months of hire)
- Ability to read, write, and manage complex correspondence
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language
- Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, coworkers, and community
