Marketing Manager

This role is responsible for shaping and executing innovative marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of adult Christian titles across multiple imprints.
You will lead end-to-end campaign development, from concept creation to execution, across advertising, social media, influencer marketing, and preorder initiatives.
The position requires close collaboration with authors, agents, and cross-functional internal teams including editorial, publicity, sales, and digital platforms.
You will play a key role in driving audience engagement, increasing discoverability, and supporting strong commercial performance for each title.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for book launches, including advertising, digital media, influencer partnerships, and social strategy.
  • Design data-informed marketing plans aligned with market trends, audience insights, and sales objectives to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with authors and their teams to build cohesive promotional strategies, content plans, and cross-platform visibility.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and performance tracking for individual titles while ensuring campaigns meet sales and engagement targets.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as editorial, publicity, sales, and digital engagement teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Contribute to acquisition and publishing meetings by providing strategic marketing insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee ongoing social media strategy and brand messaging across platforms, ensuring consistency and audience alignment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of marketing experience, preferably in publishing, media, or content-driven industries, with proven experience in campaign development and execution.
  • Strong interest in Christian books and purpose-driven storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with authors, agents, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, with a strong understanding of digital engagement strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to set, track, and achieve performance goals while working within defined budgets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is highly valued.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
