About This Position
The Head of Professional Relations & Strategic Partnerships is a senior, enterprise-level leader responsible for elevating Arcutis’ presence, influence, and engagement within the dermatology ecosystem. This role oversees Arcutis’ professional relations strategy, leads the Therapeutic Leader Liaison (TLL) team, and serves as the company’s primary ambassador to the dermatology community including healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs). Additionally, this position also plays a critical and expanding role in driving Arcutis’ U.S. growth and partnership strategy within an increasingly consolidated and rapidly evolving dermatology market. The leader will serve as Arcutis’ senior relationship architect for enterprise-level, business-to-business partnerships with key dermatology groups and management organizations and other fast-growing, highly influential entities shaping the future of dermatologic care. Acting as the primary bridge between Arcutis and these large-scale partners, the role will identify innovative collaboration models, co-develop strategic initiatives, and enable meaningful adoption of Zoryve and future Arcutis assets across enterprise networks. This includes understanding the unique operational priorities of these organizations and aligning Arcutis’ commercial objectives to deliver shared value. By elevating Arcutis’ presence at the enterprise level and expanding engagement with key emerging dermatology platforms, this position will play a pivotal role in accelerating growth, strengthening long-term partnerships, and reinforcing Arcutis’ leadership within the U.S. dermatology ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Professional Relations
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Professional Relations strategy that strengthens Arcutis’ leadership position in Dermatology
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for priority dermatology customers, including global, national, and regional KOLs
- Enhance coordination and efficiency of HCP interactions with Arcutis executive and functional leadership
- Leadership of the Therapeutic Leader Liaison (TLL) Team
- Lead, coach, and develop the TLL team to ensure impactful, compliant scientific and professional engagement with key stakeholders
- Establish a clear vision, operating model, and performance expectations for the TLL function aligned with corporate priorities
- Drive best-in-class field insights generation and cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial Leadership
Strategic Partnerships & Enterprise Engagement
- Play a central role in shaping and executing Arcutis’ growth and partnership strategy within the U.S. dermatology ecosystem
- Develop and manage enterprise-level, business-to-business relationships with leading dermatology groups and management organizations
- Serve as the primary liaison between Arcutis and these organizations, ensuring alignment of priorities, strategic objectives, and partnership opportunities
- Identify and evaluate innovative collaboration models to accelerate adoption of Zoryve and future Arcutis assets across partner networks
- Co-create joint initiatives that enhance patient access and drive measurable business impact
- Act as a credible, trusted ambassador for Arcutis’ mission and values
- Create opportunities for Arcutis’ executive leadership to engage meaningfully with the dermatology community
- Translate field insights and partner feedback into actionable recommendations that influence brand strategy, lifecycle planning, and commercial innovation
- Ensure all interactions with healthcare professionals and external partners adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry codes.
Education & Licenses and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with significant exposure to Dermatology, Immunology, or Specialty Care therapeutic areas
- Proven leadership experience managing field-facing, customer-engagement, or professional relations teams
- Demonstrated success building and managing enterprise-level strategic partnerships, preferably within private equity–backed physician groups, integrated delivery networks, or large-scale healthcare platforms
- Track record of cultivating relationships with KOLs and professional societies and shaping customer engagement strategies at a national level
- Deep understanding of U.S. healthcare dynamics, including large scale practice models, specialty care practice economics, reimbursement pathways, and the evolving dermatology landscape
- Experience working cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development, and Executive Leadership teams
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory, legal, and compliance frameworks governing HCP and enterprise engagements
- Experience representing an organization at major congresses, advisory boards, or external leadership forums
- Expected travel is 50%-70% (Congresses, Customer visits, Home office visits)
