About This Position
Director of Nursing:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations and elevate patient care within our surgical facility. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting EMR implementation, and driving quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership
- Lead and support nursing staff in pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care
- Ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery
- Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to nursing staff
Accreditation & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with AAAHC, ACHA, and MBSAQIP standards
- Oversee infection control, HIPAA, medication safety, and regulatory programs
- Prepare staff for accreditation surveys and maintain documentation standards
EMR Leadership
- Serve as SIS Complete EMR superuser
- Train and support staff on EMR workflows and documentation
Patient Experience & Quality Improvement
- Promote patient-centered care and address patient concerns
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics
- Maintain patient satisfaction scores above 90%
- Active Florida RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in surgical, PACU, or ICU settings
- Preferred: Leadership or supervisory experience in ambulatory care
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer proficiency and EMR experience
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements:Licensure, Certifications, and Pre-Hire Requirements
Your employment is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements, including:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Satisfactory background check and reference verification
- Basic computer proficiency
- Completion of all required onboarding documents
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages are preferred
- Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to provide patient care
- Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of performance improvement methodologies and risk management
- Ability to interpret and apply clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and safety protocols
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Preferred: 1 year management or supervisory experience in ambulatory care
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical, PACU, or ICU setting
You will also be required to review and comply with all institutional policies, including safety, infection control, patient confidentiality, and clinical protocols.
