Responsibilities

• Preparing examination room and equipment
• Explaining x-ray procedure to the patient to ensure understanding and comfort
• Operating x-ray machine according to established procedures
• Reviewing the quality of image and redoing if needed
• Operating within radiologic standards of care
• Taking the necessary steps to avoid undue exposure to radiation
• Maintaining an accurate patient record of completed x-ray procedures
• Opportunity to cross train into other modalities (MRI, CT)

***1 year commitment required for the sign on bonus

• Certification and current registration for Registered Technologist (RT) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Experience in CT and MRI preferred.
• Graduate of Accredited Imaging School.
• Must have BLS certification
