Clinical Staff Pharmacist, Emergency Department [$20,000 Sign-On Bonus] at Med Center Health – Bowling Green, Kentucky

This position provides integrated clinical pharmacy support and medication distribution services through a blended role, with approximately 50% of each shift spent in the central hospital pharmacy and 50% in the Emergency Department.

The Clinical Staff Pharmacist collaborates with medical staff, nursing, and ancillary services to ensure the safe, effective, and cost-effective use of medications across patient care settings. Responsibilities include clinical consultation, medication verification and distribution, pharmacokinetic and therapeutic monitoring, transitions of care, participation in emergency code responses, patient interaction, and documentation of clinical interventions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three years of hospital experience with I.V. admixtures, unit dose, and computer application preferred.
• Previous clinical hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Completion of an ASHP-approved PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency program or at least 3 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky by the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy required.
• Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties preferred.
