Inside Sales Representative at Specialty Manufacturing Buyer LLC – Clifton, New Jersey

Position Summary:

The results-driven Inside Sales Representative serves as an essential team player and delivers exceptional customer support. This role is for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready for a career with custom growth paths. Reports directly to the VP of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create quotes, process orders, and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Engage with customers daily to provide support and build strong relationships.
• Work directly with production teams to ensure customer needs are met accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate delays with customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with speed and professionalism.
• Manage customer portals.

Non-essential Responsibilities:

Skills and Abilities:

• Manufacturing Customer Service/Sales Support Experience.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC, Swiss Machining, EDM, or Metal Stamping.
• Experience in Aerospace, Defense, and Medical Industries.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and general data entry accuracy.
• Proficiency in using large language models to solve problems.

Work Environment:

This position works in an office environment, in proximity to shop work environment. The employee must be cognizant of hazards, including but not limited to variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, and exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
