Position Description

What You’ll Do

  1. Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and leadership, addressing questions and providing guidance on policies, procedures, and compliance
  2. Assist the HR Director with employee relations issues, performance management, and coaching support for leaders and staff
  3. Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and HRIS data while ensuring confidentiality
  4. Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR program support
  5. Ensure company policies and procedures are applied consistently and in compliance with employment laws
  6. Assist leadership in organizational development initiatives, employee engagement programs, and HR process improvements

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a closely-related field
  2. Active SHRM (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) or PHR certification (required to be considered)
  3. 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
  4. Experience in construction, manufacturing, or field-based organizations highly preferred
  5. Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, benefits administration, and payroll
  6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  7. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
  8. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to build trust and collaborate with employees and leaders at all levels
  10. Bi-lingual (English – Spanish) preferred
