- Oversee overall delivery for the Agile Release Train (ART) including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
- Plan and facilitate major SAFe events such as quarterly PI Planning and System Demos.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure backlog priorities and conflict resolutions.
- Act as a senior-level agile coach, guiding teams in agile values and practices.
- Optimize the flow of value through the ART utilizing various tools for project management.
- Resolve and escalate ART impediments while managing risks and promoting improvement.
- Foster a safe, collaborative environment for team engagement and issue resolution.
- Ensure clear communication among teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Synthesize data from multiple sources to generate key insights for the ART.
- Assist in budget and spending management for the ART.
- Bachelors degree in a technology-related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience managing large, cloud-based software development projects.
- 5+ years of experience in people management and team development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Release Train Engineer role leading a large ART.
- Strong organizational skills for leading planning and problem-solving sessions.
- Technical aptitude for driving accountability and ensuring quality outcomes.
- Experience with agile metrics and frameworks for ART status reporting.
- Familiarity with agile best practices and methodologies for implementing agile at scale.
- Proficiency in Agile collaboration tools like Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams.
