This role is crucial in championing the effective use of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) within our Agile Release Trains (ARTs), ensuring the continuous delivery of large-scale, cloud-based software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills and the ability to guide and develop teams within our Portfolio Management Office (PMO). • Oversee overall delivery for the Agile Release Train (ART) including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
• Plan and facilitate major SAFe events such as quarterly PI Planning and System Demos.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure backlog priorities and conflict resolutions.
• Act as a senior-level agile coach, guiding teams in agile values and practices.
• Optimize the flow of value through the ART utilizing various tools for project management.
• Resolve and escalate ART impediments while managing risks and promoting improvement.
• Foster a safe, collaborative environment for team engagement and issue resolution.
• Ensure clear communication among teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources to generate key insights for the ART.
• Assist in budget and spending management for the ART.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a technology-related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing large, cloud-based software development projects.
• 5+ years of experience in people management and team development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Release Train Engineer role leading a large ART.
• Strong organizational skills for leading planning and problem-solving sessions.
• Technical aptitude for driving accountability and ensuring quality outcomes.
• Experience with agile metrics and frameworks for ART status reporting.
• Familiarity with agile best practices and methodologies for implementing agile at scale.
• Proficiency in Agile collaboration tools like Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams.
