Pitt-Bradford is welcoming new applications for a Data Entry Specialist in the Office of Admissions. This full-time position is responsible for processing and maintaining application data with accuracy and confidentiality, while also providing essential front office and administrative support to the admissions team. Compiles, consolidates, reformats, and inputs a variety of data into a computer, detecting and correcting errors. Resolves issues as needed.
Essential Functions
Duties:
• Process incoming application materials, enter and update data from electronic and hard copy sources, verify accuracy, and identify and reconcile data discrepancies.
• Prepare applicant documents for scanning and imaging, and perform coding and indexing of scanned materials.
• Provide daily front office support including telephone coverage, scheduling appointments for visiting students and professional staff, and mailing responsibilities.
• Assist admissions professional staff with administrative tasks such as processing forms, expense reports, and other daily office functions.
• Assume Administrative Assistant duties as needed, including budgetary responsibilities and accounts receivable.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced computer literacy in spreadsheets preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people at all levels.
Physical Effort
Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
