Job Summary
Role: Account Specialist
In this role, see yourself providing solutions to meet customer needs & specifications.
You will have responsibility for the following items:
- Provides liaison between WEG and the Market (Customers, Reps and Distributors) for any type of requests related to Request for Quotes (RFQs) and Product Performance Reports (PPRs) covering our product scope of supply.
- Reviews customer specifications, then obtains necessary information from Engineering and other departments to develop pricing & form completion to compete in bidding processes.
- Contacts distributors, reps and customers regularly for feedback information.
- Answers troubleshooting / field questions, by phone, email or fax, to ensure high level of customer service.
- Assists Sales Team in resolving technical concerns of customers.

Basic:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a similar degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values. (WEG Code of Ethics, 4th Edition)
- Has current work authorization for employment in the United States.
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines;
- Has current work authorization for employment in the United States.
- Must complete: Job interview, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Resides or plans to reside within reasonable commuting distance--no relocation assistance available for this role.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with SAP;
- Two years of experience in Sales & Marketing;
- Engineering background
- Understand/speak Spanish
