Groundskeeper at MGS INCORPORATED – Denver, Pennsylvania

Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Full-Time Groundskeeper to join our team. This position works under limited supervision to ensure our grounds and facilities remain safe, attractive, and well-maintained at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Mow and maintain lawn areas using appropriate equipment.
• Perform landscape upkeep including trimming, edging, weed control, and mulching of landscaped areas.
• Manage tree growth, brush clearing, and general vegetation control as needed.
• Perform seasonal property clean-up including removal of leaves, debris, and storm damage.
• Maintain fence lines and perform minor fence repairs when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented appearance of the property grounds at all times.
• Operate landscaping and maintenance equipment including zero-turn mowers, tractor, string trimmers, chainsaws, and other hand tools.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance including greasing, oil checks, blade changes, and general care of tools and machinery.
• Ensure tools and equipment are stored properly and kept in good working condition.
• Assist with general property upkeep including minor repairs to gates, fencing, and outbuildings.
• Support small improvement or maintenance projects around the property as needed.
• Assist with seasonal or weather-related tasks such as snow removal when necessary.
• Assist Maintenance staff with projects as needed.

• Prior groundskeeping maintenance knowledge and experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and provide an MVR annually.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
• Prior experience towing equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including snow removal.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
