Experienced Parts Specialist at J J NICHTING COMPANY INC – Sigourney, Iowa

J.J. Nichting is seeking an organized and customer-focused Parts Specialist to join our team at the Sigourney location. This position supports customers in the agricultural industry by helping them find the correct parts and components for their equipment while delivering exceptional customer service and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

• Check in parts orders daily and distribute products to other dealership locations and customers.
• Serve as first contact for the Parts Department for both existing and new customers
• Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries and purchases
• Work with the Parts Manager to maintain proper inventory levels to meet customer demand
• Participate in on going inventory process to ensure proper inventory control.
• Support departmental efficiency by identifying and improving parts processes when possible

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Experience working with equipment parts
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
• Ability to lift 50-70 pounds

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Seasonal weekend hours as needed
