Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to execute and implement infrastructure and
platform designs created by our IT Architect. This role is responsible for building, configuring, and
operating infrastructure systems across on-premises and cloud environments. The IT Infrastructure
Engineer translates approved architecture into reliable, working systems and adapts designs to real
world constraints during implementation. The engineer is expected to be comfortable owning execution,
troubleshooting complex issues, and rapidly learning new technologies when required. This is a senior,
hands-on builder role focused on delivery and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute approved infrastructure designs across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments,
translating architecture into reliable, production-ready systems
• Build, deploy, and operate cloud, virtualization, identity, and connectivity platforms in alignment
with established standards
• Implement and manage network infrastructure (Layers 1–3) across multiple sites, including

switching, routing, segmentation, and cross-site connectivity
• Ensure security, consistency, and scalability in all infrastructure implementations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues in deployment and
production environments
• Identify execution constraints and escalate architectural concerns while preserving design
authority boundaries
• Operate and maintain infrastructure post-deployment, ensuring stability, performance, and
reliability
• Adapt quickly to new tools, platforms, and vendors, focusing on transferable patterns rather than
specific products
• Contribute to automation, standardization, and continuous improvement of infrastructure practices
• Provide execution feedback to architecture teams to improve designs, standards, and future
implementation efficiency

Qualifications & Skills
Required
• 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience
• Strong experience with: Microsoft Azure, On-prem infrastructure environments, Virtualization
platforms, Hybrid cloud deployments
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (Layer 1–3)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
• Comfortable translating designs into production-ready implementations
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them effectively
Preferred
• Experience working in environments with dedicated architects
• Exposure to infrastructure automation or configuration management tools
• Experience in growing or changing technology environments
• Familiarity with security controls and infrastructure hardening practices
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Sedentary: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required remain a stationary
position over 75% of the time, constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
which can include a copy machine or printer, frequently communicates with internal and external
contacts, and must be able to exchange accurate information. The employee is occasionally required to
move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and handle up to 20 pounds (files
or office supplies). Must be able to detect, determine, distinguish, inspect, assess, and adjust focus.
