Adventure Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Varsity Softball Coach to support the softball program. This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing athletes and contributing to a positive, competitive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading practices and games
• Help teach fundamental and position-specific softball skills
• Support game-day coaching and player development
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and accountability to athletes
• Assist with program organization and communication
• Help foster a positive and Christ-centered team culture
• Other duties assigned by the Athletics Director

Qualifications

• SPORT playing or coaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of fundamentals and game strategy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to collaborate with the head coach and athletic staff

Physical Requirements

• Position requires moderate physical exertion associated with the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or climb.
• Position requires physical capability for sustained physical work, requires strength and endurance associated with moderate physical effort.
• Position requires moderate physical effort while performing continuous moderate lifting.
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum or carrying an object up to 25 lbs.
