This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation in AI and machine learning, working on cutting-edge models and applications for large-scale customer feedback and experience analysis. You will design, train, and deploy ML and LLM-powered solutions, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to translate business challenges into practical AI solutions. The position emphasizes experimentation, rigorous evaluation, and continuous improvement, enabling you to directly impact product development and client outcomes. You will mentor team members, contribute to research, and help shape the next generation of AI-driven systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited for someone passionate about advanced machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI, operating in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Develop, train, and iterate on custom ML and LLM models for text extraction, sentiment analysis, summarization, and ranking
- Build and maintain AI-powered features, including retrieval pipelines, reranking systems, and automated insight agents
- Design and implement robust evaluation frameworks for model performance, metrics, and automated comparisons
- Enhance semantic search and retrieval systems, evolving from embeddings to advanced methods
- Collaborate with Engineering to productionize models, ensure scalable deployment, and maintain monitoring pipelines
- Work with Product and Commercial teams to align ML solutions with business goals and support client evaluations
- Mentor team members, review code and research, and incorporate state-of-the-art AI advances into production
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in transformer architectures and PyTorch, including custom training loops and model fine-tuning (LoRA or similar techniques preferred)
- Experience with large-scale, unstructured text classification, extraction, embeddings, reranking, clustering, and search
- Proficiency in instruction fine-tuning, serving LLMs, and frameworks such as vLLM or DeepSpeed
- Solid understanding of classical ML and statistics, with the ability to apply simpler methods when appropriate
- Practical experience with generative AI, agentic systems, and production-grade ML pipelines
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- High ownership, initiative, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or related STEM field preferred
- Experience with reinforcement learning (e.g., RLVR) is a bonus
