Tool Crib and Packing Attendant - 1st Shift at Burnside Acquisition LLC – Norton Shores, Michigan

Pay Range: $17 - $22/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Summary: Manage the input, output, and security of spare parts, perishable tooling, fasteners, and PPE, perform general administrative data-entry and production inventory support tasks and quality related tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Receive and store spare parts, perishable tooling, fasteners PPE, and other specialized equipment

· Maintain and organize inventory to ensure inventory quantities are accurate and appropriately housed

· Issue requested items to authorized personnel, and keeping a record of each transaction

· Responsible for the security of each item by ensuring the return after issuing that they remain locked in caged area

· Perform layered process audits, daily dock audits, receiving inspections and final audits

· Assist in the implementation and maintenance of 5S

· Receive, de-label and disposition returned customer containers, which includes using customer portals to maintain inventory reporting and communicate container status/needs.

· Back-up shipping clerk: prepare shipping paperwork and labels, prepare actual product including staging pallets, binding, wrapping, labeling, photographing, scanning, and loading, and sending ASN as required.

· Requires experience driving forklift / hi-lo, loading/unloading trucks, computer skills

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
